This is a crucial part of your marketing funnel and you want to make good use of it.

First, let people know that the link to their free download or details of the webinar, etc. are on the way to their email inbox.

Let them know that you will be sending occasional emails with valuable information and more freebies, but will not be overdoing it.

Tell them a little about yourself or your company.

You may want to include a survey to get to know them better and segment them on the proper email list.
